Community Empowerment at Sac State with United Latinos and CRISJ

United Latinos volunteers posing at a Sac State community empowerment event

Last week, United Latinos took part in Sac State’s annual Community Empowerment Faire.

We are honored to have been included in this event by the Sac State Center on Race, Immigration, & Social Justice. It was a pleasure to connect with students and raise awareness alongside other local organizations including Social Justice Politicorps, The Sacramento Poor People’s Campaign, California Coalition for Youth, Community Lead Advocacy Program, Building Empowerment Skills Today, and Peace Action. We are so grateful for another opportunity to support the important work CRISJ is doing on campus, and we had a blast at this event! We’re looking forward to returning again next year.
