Celebrate Culture and Community at “Noche de Cumbias y Calaveras” – A Fundraiser for NorCal Resist
Sacramento, CA — United Latinos invites the community to join us for “Noche de Cumbias y Calaveras” on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Casa de Español, located at 1101 R Street in Sacramento.
This lively cultural celebration will feature an evening of music, food, art, and community solidarity — all in support of NorCal Resist, a grassroots organization dedicated to immigrant justice and community defense. Proceeds from the event will help NorCal Resist continue their critical work, including bonding individuals out of ICE detention, supporting activists, hosting brake light clinics, organizing Know Your Rights workshops, and coordinating direct actions such as rallies and marches.
Guests can enjoy high-energy DJ sets by DJ Sly Boogie and El Revoltoso, plus an array of local food and beverage vendors including Tacos La Lupita, Raspados Reyes, Pupusas Ruth, and Balance Coffee. The evening will also feature community art vendors offering cultural pieces and prints, as well as live screen printing by artist Xico González and MEChA de la Met.
NorCal Resist will also sell limited-edition prints and merchandise to raise funds that directly support their mission of equity, advocacy, and resistance.
Admission:
🎟️ $15 presale | $20 at the door
This event is open to all ages, and attendees are encouraged to dance, connect, and celebrate community power.
