Climate Reality Project’s 2023 Climate Justice for All Grants program is now open for 2023 and ready to accept proposals from YOUR community.
The key to addressing the climate crisis is building an inclusive movement that uplifts, supports, and lends a voice – for the people and by the people – to the communities most impacted. We know that those in frontline communities are closest to the crisis and we work to ensure they are at the forefront of the movement for change.
If your organization is fighting for climate justice and a just transition from fossil fuels, this unique opportunity may be for you:
Climate Reality will be awarding up to $200,000 to fund 10 new project-based initiatives to be implemented beginning July 2023 through March 2024. This grant opportunity is available to organizations:
– Based in the US or Puerto Rico.
– Primarily led by and serving frontline communities.
– With a non-exempt 501(c)(3) Determination Letter or a fiscal sponsor actively registered.
– Working to support the phase-out of fossil fuels or advance clean energy alternatives, energy efficiency, green infrastructure, climate mitigation, green workforce development, etc.
50% of funding will be dedicated to supporting projects that prevent and fight the rapid expansion of fossil fuels, petrochemicals, and plastic production facilities across the country. For this cycle we are also giving priority to projects implemented in AL, AZ, CO, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, NM, NV, OH, PA, TN, TX, and WV.
