Welcoming New Staff and Announcing Expanded Roles at United Latinos

On behalf of the Board of Directors at United Latinos, I am proud to share some exciting updates as we continue to grow and strengthen our impact in the community.

Please join me in welcoming Edwin Cortez, who joins our team as Project Manager, Operations. Edwin brings over 20 years of experience in the tech industry, specializing in cloud computing, data science, and AI/LLM programming. Now transitioning into nonprofit leadership, he is passionate about using technology as a force for equity. Edwin has also led youth STEM and civic engagement initiatives and has seen firsthand how strategic collaboration can open doors for Latino talent.

We are also excited to welcome Zaira Joaquin Morales as Project Associate. Zaira brings strong experience in environmental research, data analysis, and community engagement. Her skills and commitment to public service will be invaluable to advancing our mission.

In addition, we are pleased to congratulate Roman Andicochea, who is stepping into a new role as Project Associate. Roman has been an integral part of our grassroots engagement work, and we are confident he will continue to build strong community connections in this expanded role.

Finally, we are proud to announce that Richard Falcón has taken on a new role as Project Manager, Special Projects. Richard will lead major grant initiatives, coordinate interagency collaborations, and help expand the reach and capacity of United Latinos. His leadership and lifelong commitment to equity and justice continue to inspire and guide our work.

We are excited about the future and the talented team that will help us carry our mission forward.
