Our community camping trip this August was a huge success! In collaboration with La Familia Counseling Center, we brought a group of families and community members (many of them first-time campers) on a 3-day trip to OH Ridge Campground, Mono Lake, and Bodie State Historic Park. The trip provided a unique opportunity for our group to learn about the natural world, experience the great outdoors, and observe the striking Perseid Meteor Shower.
