On behalf of United Latinos I am proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Manuel Guillot as
our new Executive Director. With over two decades of leadership in community development,
public policy, and global citizen education, Dr. Guillot brings visionary expertise and a deep
commitment to equity and civic empowerment.
As a seasoned nonprofit executive and advocate for underserved communities, Dr. Guillot has
held leadership roles with the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, the
Sacramento City Unified School District, and the Hispanic Association of Colleges and
Universities. He also co-founded an innovative early childhood school in Guatemala and has led
global education initiatives across Latin America, Europe, and Asia.
In his role as Executive Director, Dr. Guillot will lead United Latinos’ mission to expand civic
engagement and environmental justice, build cross-sector coalitions, and amplify Latino
leadership in the Sacramento region. His strategic vision, combined with his dedication to
inclusive advocacy, will strengthen our efforts to empower communities and foster a more just
and participatory democracy.
