COMMUNITY AIR PROTECTION PROGRAM SOUTH SACRAMENTO/FLORIN – STEERING COMMITTEE MEETING

In-Person Meeting with Remote Option

When: 6pm – 8pm Tuesday, June 4, 2024

In-Person Location: Fletcher Farm Community Center (7245 Fletcher Farm Drive, Sacramento, CA 95828)

Remote Option: Zoom

The Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District (Sac Metro Air District) will host a public meeting on June 4, 2024, for the Air Quality Steering Committee representing the South Sacramento/Florin Community. The Steering Committee works with the Sac Metro Air District to improve air quality in the South Sacramento/Florin community. The agenda for the Steering Committee meeting is anticipated to cover the following topics:

• Community Boundary Discussion
• Bus Tour Discussion

During the June 4, 2024 Steering Committee meeting, there will be a hands-on group activity as part of the community boundary and bus tour discussion. The hands-on group activity will be only available in person. The materials provided during the activity will be made available online so that remote participants can review the information and provide feedback during the debriefing part of the discussion items. While the meeting is in person with a remote option, it is recommended that participants attend in person to maximize their participation during the meeting. 

If you need an interpreter for this meeting, please send an email request to AB617Clerk@airquality.org. The request must be received by 5:00pm on May 28, 2024. The request must indicate what language you need and whether you will be attending the meeting in person or through the remote/virtual option. The District will attempt to secure live interpreter services for the language requested; if the District is unable to secure interpreters in your language, you will be notified prior to the meeting.
