It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we write this message. On May 24, 2022, the Uvalde community suffered a tremendous and tragic loss that is felt throughout the nation and the rest of the world. Many in the Latino community are all too familiar, and have suffered loss at the hands of gun violence, and even more at the hands of underlying systemic issues that impact our communities. United Latinos express their deepest condolences, and our
hearts and prayers are with the families affected by this tragedy. United Latinos urges you to reach out to your local organizations to see what resources are available for any donations that can be made, which will benefit the victims. Let us all embrace each other and provide each other with support this day and every day.
